"Project Graduation" is a program developed by various
high school students and administrators to provide drug and
alcohol-free activities during the Graduation and Prom
season.
These activities -- conducted in this environment --
encourages all participants to enjoy and celebrate their
accomplishments without exposure to peer pressure to engage
in unsafe and illegal acts of behavior. "Project Graduation"
provides for safe, clean, and supervised recreational
activities. "Project Graduation" provides for safe, clean
and supervised social gatherings. "Project Graduation"
provides a safe, clean and supervised alternative for
students.
The activities can include dances, all-night "lock-ins"
with live entertainment, or various participation sports
activities. Your school administrators and student
government representatives can organize and create the
events that best fit your student population’s personality.
There is one single purpose: to provide students with safe,
clean, creative and fun activities that enable them to
celebrate without the risk of exposure to drugs and alcohol.
"Project Graduation" programs have been developed all
over the Commonwealth. They can be created to fit each
school’s schedule and goals. They are proven successful.
